hey there mynah maniacs, i’m here to keep this blog alive! btw, talking about the sec 1s , i musts ay they really are very cute! i saw them yesterday sitting together! i haven really asked about how they fared for their 1st test, but i know they must have done well! ha ha they must have done the awesome mynah family proud! hee hee i love kerrie and yunman! <3 anyways i am really really looking forward to getting our mynahs patrol tee:) yeah us! ahaha and i like the idea of "mynah is major" ahaha maybe some people would not get what we mean by mynah is major, maybe we could like just put a bracket put (minor) ahaha i hope we will finally get our mynah patrol tee this year, hopefully b4 enrolment se we all get to wear it yipeee

Anyways, happy valentine's day and Chinese New Year, all! Hope you guys ate lots of goodies like bakkwa (I LOVELOVE IT) and received lots of angpows! Save the money so you can blow it on presents for ME. You know, today is my brother's birthday? My parents wanted to name him Valentino as a joke, since he was born on V-Day. But he and I are SO glad they didn't. I wouldn't be able to bear the social stigma of having Valentino for a brother. Seriously, the name reminds me of some handlebar-moustached guy.

OH and our dear sec 1 (I won't say who) has a secret admirer! How exciting! xD let's hear her story during patrol meeting kay!

Dear Esther, Min, Wanqi and Cheryl,

today was really hard for me.i just couldnt bear to say good bye to all of you. I cried like the whole world was collapsing down and its like i just couldnt stop myself from crying just at the thought of you guys leaving guides forever. you all really mean the world to me and to mynah too.words and sentences cant describe how i feel towards all of you, you’re the ones whom allowed me to experience and feel how it was like to have a great senior, helping, caring, guiding, and teaching us. to me, you are just like sisters in this big mynah family. i have always had a low self esteem, and you’re the ones who encouraged and motivated me whenever i felt like i couldnt do it, you’re the ones who made me have faith in myself. rember the first time ever talked to you all? it was when we went together to buy my uniform together, and till now i can still remeber the one sentence u told me that day”Mynah is considered one of the best patrol, so you must do your best and do mynha proud” i jus t wanna tell you all that i will always rember all the precious memories we all had together,and i wouldnt trade them for anything else in the world.i also want tt thank you all for all that you have taught us, all that you have done for us, and for mynah. you have guided and taught each and everyone of us well in mynah, and that mynah, and i wouldnt be here today without u. To me, you all are the best seniors, best friends, best teachers, and best pillars of support.Whenever we needed help, ypu all would always be there for us to lend a helping hand , and intimes of sadness, troubles, you all would always be there for us as our listening ears and whenever we fell, you all would always be there to grab us when we fell and pull us back on our feets again.Y’all give all that you have to guides,mynah and all of us selflessly, being our best seniors,best teachers and best friends.I was on fb watching the farewell video again on thursday when i duont know why but tears started welling up in my eyes again, and when i was on the bus on friday, on my way to my friends house, i just started thinking of you guys and it justs pains for me to think that there will be no more of you guys coming down for patrol meeting and cheering us up with all ur jokes, chit chatting about all the random stuff that happened and also discussing about patrol stuff, and no more of you greens at guides session and no more of standing as a patrol with u guys when we fall in anymore, no more playing patrol bonding games with yall and ……..so much stuff that will never be the same without u guys.Guides will never be the same again without you all. Esther, Min, Wan qi, and cheryl, you guys are unique and one of a kind, no one can ever replace you all no matter in guides , mynah, or in our hearts. To me, nobody can ever replace ur places in my heart, and that you guys will forever be the best seniors, best guides, best teachers and best friends that you always are to me.Rest assured that Mynah is in good hands, and that we will remain as the awesome Mynah patrol that will always be in your hearts, bonded even more bonded than super glue, and soar to greater heights where even the sky is no limit to us. JIAYOUS for your o levels and no matter how tough or how stressful it is your days ahead may come, just know that everyone in guides, in mynah will always be there to back you up, support you, i’m sure there is nothing you all cant do.Feel free to look for any of us if you need a listening ear, or a shoulder to lean on, cause we will always be tere for you like how u all were always there for us in times of troubles. Okay, this post is so bright and cheery compared to Shi Hui's! Thank you Shi Hui for your long and sincere post (: When I was Sec 1, I didn't post on the blog okay. I feel your dedication to Mynah. And randomly, can we change this blogskin? Because the black is so ominous and we all know Mynah is bright and cheery! :D

How was camp? I miss it so much, even the grass and insects. I must be sick in the head. Let's see, I had 5 antbites, hot barley spilled over my feet and I embarrassed myself totally for the campfire and farewell. And I still miss camp :D Like how I miss Tracy, Siao Yi and Rachel. We'll mark their names down as the awesome blues! I LOVE YOU!

Dear Rachel,Tracy,and Siao Yi,

Today was really really agonising,sad,heart-breaking,teary,ARGH I just can't describe how I really felt today.Farewell was really teary and sad for me ,and I am sure mynah manics and everyone in Guides too.I didnt really think I will cry today for farewell , and it just seems that I love Rachel,Tracy,and Siao Yi more than I ever knew.It was just like we all sat down together ,and it was like ...Esther started crying,followed by min ,all overwhelmed by tears ,overwhelmed with those undescribable feelings they ever had for them.Tracy then had also break down and started tearing up.Soon after,I started crying too.And it lasted for the whole day.whenever I think that you all are gonna leave,I just cant help by cry again.I dont know ,its just that kind of sadness and feelings I have for Rachel,Tracy,and Siao Yi that made me cry uncontrollably,I just feel so sad , so so so I dont know,a feeling I can never describe ,I just dont want them to leave!My heart hurt and bled ,it tore and got stabbed ,it cried deep deep deep down inside.Although I had just spent a short six months with them,and didnt really talk much to them,its just that bond that made me hurt and cry so much.Tears just keep welling down whenever i think of them.Ever since I have been to GUIDES,you all have been really really awesome senoirs,leading me to where I am today.I have been really really quite cause I just was afraid to speak up.But from tis very very second onwards,I will speak up,and just shout out:"Rachel,Tracy,Siao Yi,MYNAH,I LOVE YOU!"I really regretted not speaking more to everyone in Mynah,especially Rachel,Tracy,AND Siao Yi.Its like you all are just like sisters to me.I jsut know that we ALL ,the mynah maniacs have this very very strong bond for one another,and I know that it wont just become weaker just because the sec 4s are gone.It would only get stronger and stronger,cause mo one can ever replace Rachel,Tracy,and Siao Yi in my heart.I will still keep in contact with them.the thought of them leaving really makes me well up with tears.sec 4s ,especially Rachel,Tracy,and siao yi,you all are really really nice senoirs ,teaching us and guiding us selflessly.You have made everything possible,and CAMP CAMELOT wouldn't even exist without you.I just wanna apologise for amking you all angry ,making you all do so much things for us.All the efforts,all the time and guiding,you given to us are as countless as can be.You all have put up so many wonderful performance for us,spending time to plan ,and rehearse everything.I know that it is not easy to do so , with so many exams ,and homework ,adding on with stress , it reaaly aint easy.You have given everyone such a wonderful time ,making camp so memorable,giving us memories we can never forget.I really liked the letters and gifts Rachel,Trcy,and Siao Yi gave me it was really really very nice.Simple as it seems ,it holds a lot of meaning for me.I really appreciate the effort, for it is the thought that counts.Rachel,Tracy and Siao Yi,the effort that you have put in,what you have done for Guides,for Mynah,can never be measured.Guides wouldn't ever be the same,for you are all unique in your own ways.Rachel,Tracy,and Siao Yi I just want you to know that Mynah will always have you,deep deep down in its heart,and that no one can ever replace you in its heart.To me,you are the one and only,no one can ever replace you in my heart.I will ,do my best and give it my all,and LOVE GUIDES AND LOVE MYNAH like how all of you do,for i know this is one of your greatest wish,for this is the only way you would truly be happy .Do your best for your (A or O levels,i still cant differentiate:)),and always know that me ,mynah maniacs will always be there for you,with us rooting for you,i am sure there is nothing that is too difficult for you,and that you will do your best and do the mynah maniacs and yourself proud:)

First of all, I would like to congratulate the 2 promoted green birdies. When i wrote the letter, i really really had a whole lot of feelings that i want to jot down to both of you. i will never forget those times spent in Camp Galore (with the other things like the nights in the bunk, gatsby spraying, cooking and building stuffzxzx) we really had a great time together right! CONGRATULATIONS COS IM SO DAMN PROUD OF YOU GUYS.

Secondly, i would like to thank ALL THE MYNAH BIRDIES that has made MYNAH A RESOUNDING SUCCESS :) we must be the highest most enthu of the enthu and sexiest patrol k! We must be the best k :)

how's life for everyone? hah, all of the sudden i don't really know what to say so i shall PRAWN!! (crap)last week's guides test was pretty easy. esther and i kind of concluded that the marks that we get will determine how much common sense we have.lol. esther and wanqi had full marks while i had 0.5 less common sense than they have. Guides for the sec 2s was rather slack. didnt really do much. bessy was marking our test papers when we were done with it and in the meantime, we just talked and did nothing else.

last week was a week that i will never forget. Many things happened. Life can make us happy but it can also make us sad. how ironic! i have been sleeping quite late this few days, and those eyebags are getting WORSE!! but, i guess, that can't be help.

typical life of singaporean students. pitiful? i don't know. who will? sighs.. now im really not talking any sense, so i think i better stop before all ur common sense get drained out. but HOLD ON A SECOND!!! today while i was playing golf, i saw a mynah. it couldnt fly 'cause it was too wet and it weighed him down. so all he could do was just flap his wings for a minute or two then he CANT go on any more.

my dad wanted to pick it up to help him fly and up till know i dont know how he is going to do that. he even said that he wanted to bring the MYNAH home to let it recuperate and have it as a pet. lol. my dad's humerous. ya i shared this 'cause a MYNAH was involved in it. ya i know it's lame.

HEY BIRDIES!!!

term 2 has just started, so how's everyone feeling? still coping well? haha:) the teachers said that the one week break was meant for relaxing and recharging your batteries, but i doubt so.

cg really made us very busy. but in the end, we all had fun and the process was really great!:)) i think that was the first time i really gan shou dao the meaning of "it's the process that is much fun and enticing. the process gives u new insights and experiences, not the RESULT!!" the process is really very rewarding.lol. LET'S ALL PRAY HARD THAT WE CAN GET INTO THE FINALS!:)

okay. today's patrol meeting was really quite different. cherida was really talking alot as usual and rachel & tracy were stoning. they seemed really tired, esp. daddy bird. OMGOSHI-GOSH!!!! sometimes i think that moe is really pushing us too much, lots of competition and stress. everybody wants to be the cream of the crop, so they study till they like dDROP DEAD? okay not literally. the standards are just rising and rising and soon the figures of students committing suicide will be on the rise too!!

i think im starting to sound so political-ish? haha:) but looking at the students in our school and reviewing my academic life, i will start thinking of this issue. nowadays, a cert or a degree is not that important anymore. those 2 might not get u anywhere. its really SO TOUGHHHH out there!!

thinking day was kind of boring yesterday and i think today will be even worse. so sad!
yup i was so damn late yesterday and i thought the cls will scold me...
but it is not my fault 'cos i take bus to school unlike others and the bus came late and not me.
oh and during that 15 minutes or so, it was quite sien, needing to stand there like "dumbos".
then after school we met cherry and nicoley to teach them the thinking day song but it seems that they will not sing but just mouth the words like what we did last year.
and big bird should be the one leading okay?
then she was just standing there and seeing us sing while she did not sing.
so obviously, the sec 1s will not learn well cos big bird did not sing.
oh and small bird or rachel mummy did not sing too!
she was like standing there with a long stick which was supposed to be for the ccamp galore thingy, and she acted really like our mother!
haha, imagining swinging the "cane" up and down, as if she really is going to beat us or something.
oh and camp galore was very long yesterday (and maybe boring for me).
so i waited for like 3-4 hours just for min and esther.
and instead i went home just to get a big scolding from my mum. so sad.
but like what min had said, we will definitely try our best, who will want to fail right?
but maybe we can try harder...
haha i cannot believe that the blue badge is the most hardworking batch of all!

okay lets see...
yesterday was an extremely bad day!
lots of sadness involved.
for guides test right,i intended to study during recess and lunch, but instead i went to chat instead since nothing seems to go into my head.
and then, i thought lunch still can study but then i have a "surprise" chem extended lessons.
so all in all, i did not even read the book!!!
and during the test, i was admiring the scenery outside because i have nothing to do!
all the questions i was like "OMG how to do! Sure die liao!"
so i tried my luck and like toto or 4-d, i just write any number which i thought might be the answer.
but in the end all was wrong...
so i hope that rachel sim can mark our papers... so that we will not be scolded that badly by rachel teo or charlotte.
actually can just throw them away to save your time.
and i did not zip my pencil box so quickly okay!!!
i had nothing to do and hated to see my table so messy so i decided to clear it what.
so... all the 4 sec 2 mynahrians will have to retake their world centre test because cheryl tan also didn't come today.
haha cheryl koh was also very funnny yesterday.
during the singing of the taps, one of the seniors i dunno who called us to sing it again, then cheryl koh was like "tsk" like very fed up like that!
and nicoley was so cute.
she had the longest hair so she was like "must i tie my hair into plaits during thinking day?"
then she was like "OMG IT IS SO LONG!"

Hey MYNAH MANIacs!!!!

Guides session today was relatively fun today!!! As esther had said in the earlier post, world centres test was a huge disaster, totally not fun at all. before we even started on the test, we already knew that we were going to fail cos we didnt LEARN!!!

we seriously had no time 2 learn even though we were given 2 weeks, but then there were like so many things to memorise. On top of that, there were so many tests in that 2 weeks, yupps, so we seriously had no time 2 study. poor time management. poor us.....

okay, let's stop self pity-ing ourself, cos there's no use crying over spilt milk! Now I'm starting to like guides more. guides test don;t seem that bad now, it can be quite fun at CERTAIN TIMES TOO!!!

As for MYNAH!!!!, that goes without saying. LOVE IT TO THE FULLEST!!!:))

since esther attempted to do up a cheer, i shall try too. i can't gurantee that it will be good, but i will try my best! okay here goes:

omg Min, Wan and I are so gna fail the World Centres Test.
Well, mainly because we didn't have time to study for it.
so of course we took the test without memorising anything. D:
Bessy was the "invigilator".
haha, min, wan and I suggested that she don't collect our papers cus' it'll be a waste of their time marking it. We left sooooo many blanks. :X
total's 40marks. passing's 30.
I doubt we can even get 10 marks.
Wan was uber cuteeeee luh!
lol, I sat beside her during the test.
When we still had about 15min before handing up the papers, wan just kept her pens and pencils in her pencil case, zipped it up and folded her arms.
LOL, she decided not to do anymore, since she won't be able to come up with any correct answers, so might as well don't do.
hahaha! I laughed, duh. :D

First time posting and i have like so many things to say,

Happy elated CNY!
today's patrol meeting was at least more fun than the previous ones.
and for the first time, mynah is the only one patrol talking among the rest of them.
but, it is still quite dead according to our expectations. +(
and the a-lun part was funny.
and tracy was talking at last!
so cool is like she looks refreshed today!
and our circle was quite perfect today unlike last weeks one! Haha!
oh and rachel grandma said that she is in bowling now,
so maybe we can go for a bowling session to see her skills.
and after that we can have a steamboat at night! Cool!

esther you are getting lazy now.
you've haven't been posting and rachel mummy too.
today's guides was fun.
i mean the tests and lecture.
the "giving directions" test was uber hard and so bessy allowed us to pair up, so i paired with min and we had a great time man!
Right min?
is like we have not enough time to complete the test so everyone was like screaming here and there, so the atmosphere was like extremely high?
Todays lecture was about social etiquette. =)
Oh and during the lecture, bessy "ordered" me to show the sec 2s how to walk in the proper way.
So min and i went to do it like a catwalk and then cassandra said that that was the most horrible walk that she has ever seen!
So bad!
Anyway, then min and i laughed till we knocked our heads into each others and ow... my head still hurt till now.
Thanks tracy for lending me your books! But you did not want to carry it home instead! So i have have to bring to school on Tuesday and return it to you! Anyway, thanks!
And we are not most enthu patrol lah!

anyway, hello mynah!
actually, i have nothing to post about.
oh yah... patrol meeting.
rachel mummy didn't keep her promise!
so sad! she said that she will be wearing her specs and will talk more!
but sadly she didn't.
so bad then she gave me an extremely fake laugh.
and we just found out that we have been plit into 4 worlds:
* the lively world (esther, min, cherida, nicole, cheryltan and me)
*the stoning world (rachel)
*the tired world ( tracy)
*the quiet world (siaoyi)
haha! this is so bad. normally, the patrols will sit in a big circle, but ours is like...
a circle with an open hole at one part.
the sec 1s are really enthu... i mean they talk alot, more than the sec 3s and 2s.
so that is a good sign for mynah as they can liven up the whole patrol.
anyway, hope that the next patrol meeting will be livelier!

me and jolene will need to double check on sec ones uniform before enrolment.erm, incase sec ones dunno, u will have to sew those kind of metal buttons on the lower flap thing on the collar..yupp.think i have told u all before le.. just reminding..yupps.
anw,are u all free on mon late evening?we r gonna have patrol dinner!yupps.at the same time we can check ur uniform too..right now, the draft plan is tt lets meet up in sch or sth at like arnd 5 pm , have the uniforms checked, then we will go to j8 or sth to have dinner..mos burger?hmm haha dunno yet..ya..but the date and time isnt fixed..i will tell ya on sun which is like tmr.do let me noe who are the ones who cun go on mon..(ESP. the sec ones)
